Using your edible images is EASY when it comes to our range.
Our icing images are PRE-CUT, and ready to peal and apply. Which means, all you need to do, is prepare your cake(s) with icing then while its still fresh, grab your ziplock with your edible image inside, and simple peal it away from the plastic back sheet then pop it onto the cake.
*The backing sheet is clear, plastic. It should NOT be hard to remove. It is like a plastic film.
Wafer images are also now pre-cut, These do not have any backing, you just pop them out, if they are not already detached, and apply them onto a buttercream iced cake. AVOID MOISTURE* with wafer as it has a tendency to curdle at the edges, so no ice cream, cream or other wet icing, iced cakes.
You can use a damp brush and lightly brush fondant (just to make it feel tacky – not wet) and stick the wafer to fondant like that. Its only excessive water, like droplets that will cause the wafer to curl up and curdle.
Storing your edible images.
Edible images can be stored for 12 months. Please note, the colour of your image may darken over time.
They are best stored at room temp/warmer rather than cooler. ie. Pantry is a great spot.
