Using your edible images is EASY when it comes to our range.
Our icing images are PRE-CUT, and ready to peal and apply. Which means, all you need to do, is prepare your cake(s) with icing then while its still fresh, grab your ziplock with your edible image inside, and simple peal it away from the plastic back sheet then pop it onto the cake.
Popping on the cake is easy, so don’t stress at all. Just line it up, roughly where you want it to go, then slowly lay it down, and pat it down with your hands (ensure they are dry)
Icing images can be used on many icing types, we just do not recommend whipped/fresh cream (or other “wet” icings) Ice cream however is fine – just note as the cake defrosts/melts, the icing image will also start to melt from the excessive moisture.
Wafer images are not pre-cut, you do need to cut these yourself using clean dry scissors, its also quite easy to do!
Wafer is quite thin, and almost see through/transparent, so we recommend using only white buttercream frosting with wafer.
Wafer does not have a backing – so just cut, and apply in a similar way to the method above.
Storing your edible images.
Edible images can be stored for 12 months. Please note, the colour of your image may darken over time.
They are best stored at room temp/warmer rather than cooler. ie. Pantry is a great spot.
